In this new phase of the agreement, Ponant has selected EntryDocs for Cruises, Smartvel’s specific solution for managing entry requirements and documentation for cruise trips.
Thanks to this technology, Ponant passengers can easily access, in real time, all the necessary entry requirements not only for each destination on the itinerary, but also for international flights to the port of embarkation and the return trip to their country of origin. All this from a solution that is fully integrated into the company’s digital channels.
EntryDocs for Cruises is a fully embedded and customizable widget, tailored to Ponant Expeditions’ brand image and preloaded with each cruise itinerary, allowing travelers to access official government links and all relevant visa and documentation information with a single click, with results personalized according to their nationality and country of residence. In addition, the solution facilitates on-demand updates of new itineraries and routes, preloading of traveler data in pre-trip communications, and integration with insurance or visa providers, contributing to a smoother, clearer, and stress-free experience.
