Smartvel’s API is designed for a simple, secure, and highly customizable integration. Through API Key authentication and REST endpoints, developers can access an extensive set of updated data on events, places, restaurants, and regions, all optimized for high performance through a caching system.

Authentication and endpoints
To make HTTP requests to our endpoints, you must authenticate by adding a parameter named key to your request, using the API Key we will provide.
Endpoints are paginated, so both page size and page number must be specified. By default, 25 elements are returned, with a maximum of 50—except for the regions endpoint, which includes a large number of elements by default.

- Events: dynamic destination data, ordered by relevance, supporting multiple filters such as region_id, in_bbox, iata, taxonomies, profile_tags, etc.
- Places: points of interest ordered by relevance, supporting filters such as region_id, in_bbox, iata, profile_tags, etc.
- Restaurants: restaurants ordered by relevance, supporting filters such as region_id, in_bbox, iata, profile_tags, score, price_types, etc.
- Regions: regions available in the account. Can be extended with the Travel Tips API and supports filters such as profile_tags.
